Inconsistent Records is the personal site of James Byrne. I am Compute Lead for the University of Exeter Research IT group.

I was previously Principal Software Engineer at the British Antarctic Survey in the UK. There are some photos of my time in Antarctica available to look at.

If you're interested, the now page on this site contains an up to date record of what I'm working on. My blog has some ramblings on specific subjects.

There is some old experimental music available for the unsuspecting listener.
